The Undercover Dom is a black leather tie with a secret. Cut from black full grain veg tan welt leather sourced from Australia's oldest tannery, it is double layered with a built-in stiffener, so it holds a crisp, clean line from knot to tip. Unclip it from the neck strap and, in seconds, it becomes a handheld leather paddle.

Discreet in public. Decisive in private.

How it's made

Every tie passes through five precise stages in our Queensland workshop:

1. Cut – precision cut from black full grain veg tan welt leather. The leather is black through its full thickness, so it needs no dye.
2. Polished – edges shaped and polished by hand.
3. Sewn – stitched on an industrial machine for strength and a clean, even line.
4. Polished again – a final edge burnish for a smooth, glassy finish.
5. Finished – set with high-grade stainless steel hardware built to last.

Nothing painted on. Nothing to rub off. Just honest leather, finished properly.

Ages beautifully
Made from natural vegetable-tanned leather, it deepens in colour and develops a rich patina over time, ageing beautifully with use.
